a national operation from concept to launch in 60 days.

  • Built and documented end-to-end SOPs for every stage of production, from candy-type cook times. Streamlined fulfillment, reduced waste, and positioned the business for scalable growth.

  • Navigated 9 TikTok Shop rejections before approval in March; required a total overhaul of relabeling and repackaging to meet strict FDA and platform compliance standards.

  • Negotiated reseller pricing directly with Mars, Inc. (parent company of Skittles, Starburst, and more), lowering product cost from $14 down to $7–$9 per box.

Successful Exit:

  • In late August, I was blown off a two-story home. The fall broke my wrist, requiring a metal plate and 13 screws, tore my shoulder, fractured my jaw, and knocked out six of my teeth.. Closed out the end of 2024 with a successful exit, selling off accounts, and equipment to a direct competitor.

  • Used humor and shock value to stop the scroll — kicking off with a splashy “cannonball” before cutting to service visuals and a clear CTA.

  • Viewers who watched at least 50% were added to a warm audience for retargeting with direct service ads.

The Results:

GTM Strategy: Offline-to-Online Bridge:

  • I dropped these "Someone has been peeping on you" flyers onto doors as a deliberate pattern interrupt to trigger an immediate psychological response. The QR code bridged that physical curiosity into a digital proof-sequence, landing prospects on a page where my privacy and heat-gun videos closed the sale before I even spoke to them. This wasn't just a marketing flyer; it was an engineered acquisition engine that turned front doors into traceable, high-intent customers.

The Retargeting Strategy:

  • Filmed a walkaround demo that showed full daytime privacy in action. Viewers couldn’t see inside from the outside, but once the door opened, only faces appeared. The interior stayed hidden until I stepped inside, where it was fully visible and filled with natural light. From the inside looking out, visibility was completely clear.

  • Shot a second video using a heat gun to demonstrate real-time heat rejection. As sunlight hit the exposed floor, temperatures jumped into the 100s. The section protected by the tinted glass stayed in the 70s, proving immediate impact on heat transfer

  • Used both videos to drive awareness and demand for Peep Free’s tint service. Cross-sold tinting to existing exterior cleaning clients, and upsold window cleaning, screen service, and house washes on tint-only jobs.

The Results:

  • Attracted high-intent leads from homeowners seeking privacy, energy savings, and a cleaner aesthetic — especially those on corner lots or with full-exposure windows.

  • Reframed the conversation from “Do you want tint?” to “Why live behind blinds and pay higher utility bills?” The shift positioned us as the smarter long-term option for modern home comfort.

  • Boosted average order value by upselling exterior cleaning on tint installs, and introducing tint as an add-on for customers who originally came in through pressure washing.

  • I dropped these "Someone has been peeping on you" flyers onto doors as a deliberate pattern interrupt to trigger an immediate psychological response. The QR code bridged that physical curiosity into a digital proof-sequence, landing prospects on a page where my privacy and heat-gun videos closed the sale before I even spoke to them. This wasn't just a marketing flyer; it was an engineered acquisition engine that turned front doors into traceable, high-intent customers.

The Retargeting Strategy:

  • Filmed a walkaround demo that showed full daytime privacy in action. Viewers couldn’t see inside from the outside, but once the door opened, only faces appeared. The interior stayed hidden until I stepped inside, where it was fully visible and filled with natural light. From the inside looking out, visibility was completely clear.

  • Shot a second video using a heat gun to demonstrate real-time heat rejection. As sunlight hit the exposed floor, temperatures jumped into the 100s. The section protected by the tinted glass stayed in the 70s, proving immediate impact on heat transfer

  • Used both videos to drive awareness and demand for Peep Free’s tint service. Cross-sold tinting to existing exterior cleaning clients, and upsold window cleaning, screen service, and house washes on tint-only jobs.

As interest in the products grew, I kept getting asked for an affiliate link. But instead of sending traffic to a central site for a cut of each sale, I created a high-leverage reseller partner program that scaled to over 100+ resellers.

Who The Reseller Program Was Built For:

  • I provided all backend support, product updates, and software stability

In late August of 2024, I was blown off a two-story roof while on a job site.

The fall broke my wrist, requiring a metal plate and 13 screws, tore my shoulder, fractured my jaw, and knocked out six of my teeth.

While I was able to recover physically, the incident had a lasting mental impact. Sending crews onto the same types of jobs every day carried a constant mental weight.


As the owner, I didn’t want anyone else’s family getting the phone call my wife got that afternoon.

After the 2024 season ended, I made the decision to exit the industry and sold the business to a direct competitor.

If something isn’t selling, I don’t start with more ad spend. I start by breaking the funnel down step by step.

How do you solve the Churn problem in a high-scale environment?

Churn usually isn’t a marketing problem. It’s a stability or clarity problem, and in my SaaS experience, it was both.

I was seeing almost all cancellations happen during the 14-day free trial. At first, we canceled users out quickly after they requested it and followed up with a polite email asking why, but no one responded.

So I flipped the process. Instead of canceling them immediately, I added a step that asked them to share their reason before confirming. That one shift gave us real answers: bugs, speed issues, and confusion on how to use the platform.

That data led to three big changes.

First, I pulled 30 developers off new feature work and put them on bug-only tickets across our 20-plus tools. We went from months-long fix cycles to same-day resolutions. That immediately improved trust and trial retention.

Second, I created over 100 short, step-by-step training videos that walked users through the platform, from logging in to sending broadcasts and more.

Third, I had onboarding specialists reach out within the first few days of signup to schedule live Zoom calls. Their job was to walk new users through the system, answer every question, and make sure they felt supported early.

After that, the how-to videos took over and did the heavy lifting at scale.

What is your strategy for lowering CAC while increasing AOV?

I treat CAC and AOV like the twin engines of profitability. You need both tuned to scale.

To lower CAC, I move away from “commodity ads” and focus on attention-first creative that earns clicks, not just buys them.

I test with small ad budgets and scale only when performance hits the KPIs. On Freezed Up Treats, I validated cold traffic with just $137 and a scroll-stopping “Ice Cream That Doesn’t Melt” hook, which drove clicks at $0.21 and purchases at $60+ AOV — all with a fresh pixel and zero brand equity.

On the AOV side, I engineer offers that stack value. For example, I bundled themed candy packs (Caramel Lovers, Berry Blast, etc.) and offered free shipping at $30. That simple trigger turned $9–$15 orders into $60–$75 carts consistently.

Then I layered in urgency with seasonal promos and used QR-driven packaging to drive second and third purchases post-sale..

Whether it’s a local service business, DTC product, or SaaS, the playbook is the same: front-load demand with memorable creative, reduce CAC through smart testing, and lift AOV by giving customers a reason to spend more.
