to build a high-margin DTC freeze-dried candy brand. built
a national operation from concept to launch in 60 days.

Business Operations:

  • Built and documented end-to-end SOPs for every stage of production, from candy-type cook times. Streamlined fulfillment, reduced waste, and positioned the business for scalable growth.

  • Navigated 9 TikTok Shop rejections before approval in March; required a total overhaul of relabeling and repackaging to meet strict FDA and platform compliance standards.

  • Negotiated reseller pricing directly with Mars, Inc. (parent company of Skittles, Starburst, and more), lowering product cost from $14 down to $7–$9 per box.

Marketing & Growth:

  • Drove $55K+ in revenue across 6,700+ bags in under 5 months through short-form video content on TikTok and organic social, with only $137 spent on a Ice Cream ad Facebook/Instagram campaign.

  • Built and launched full eCommerce store from scratch; owned email, SEO, and funnel strategy across new and repeat buyers.

  • Designed branded packaging with QR codes that redirected TikTok buyers to my eCommerce store, bypassing TikTok shop fees and captured 100% of the margin on repeat orders.

Category-Wide Shakeup & Strategic Closure:

  • Shut down after a deep review of unit economics. Ice cream SKUs tied up machines for 80+ hours per batch, vs. just 30 mins for candy, capping scale. In parallel, Mars launched Skittles Popped, revoked reseller pricing, and triggered a category-wide cease & desist, which ultimately limited future growth and margin.

and a QR-powered curiosity funnel via shipping boxes.

The Strategy:

  • Created a short, scroll-stopping “x-ray” video for TikTok and social to build brand awareness through curiosity.

I used QR codes to capture post-sale traffic from TikTok. When labels were rejected, I submitted a compliant version, but kept shipping the originals to turn buyers into repeat customers.

The Problem:

  • TikTok blocks sellers from seeing customer emails and phone numbers. With the 2024–2025 U.S. ban making headlines, I realized that if the platform vanished overnight,
    I would lose access to my TikTok customer base and have no way to reach them.

The Solution:

  • I added QR codes directly to the product packaging to transition anonymous TikTok buyers into my own first-party database. This strategic move allowed me to also bypass TikTok Shop seller fees and capture 100% of the profit on repeat orders.

Peep Free & Clean

Founder & Operator / UTAH / 2020 - 2024

Started a pressure washing business in 2020, launching at the
height of COVID demand for sanitization. Grew into a full-service
operation serving both residential and commercial accounts.

Business Operations:

  • Built the business from scratch and scaled from a solo operation to a 3-truck, multi-crew service with consistent seasonal demand and 45+ jobs monthly at peak. Average job ranged from $800 to $3,500 and average $96,000+ per month.

  • Created full-service SOPs to ensure quality and safety across house washes, chemical usage, roof treatments, window cleaning, screen deep cleans, and soft wash vs. pressure systems.

  • Tracked and maintained a high repeat/referral rate through seasonal service reminders, loyalty offers, or word-of-mouth.

  • Built a simple hiring + training SOP to onboard new crew members with consistent service standards.

  • Improved crew efficiency with optimized scheduling by location, reducing fuel and labor hours per job.

Marketing & Growth:

  • Used slapstick humor and scroll-stopping video ads (like the “Toilet Cannonball”) to build trust through brand recall, establish a warm local audience, and lower cost per lead which increased revenue.

  • Created a fully autonomous voice AI named “Brittney” to handle inbound calls and never miss an opportunity. AI Brittney booked all estimates and triggered automated reminders for upcoming appointments.

  • Partnered with local businesses to cross-promote services and drive community trust

  • Tracked and converted leads using a full CRM system, automating appointment flows, reminders, and follow-ups to maximize bookings and reduce no-shows.

  • Shot and shared real job videos across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and blogs to generate leads, build trust, and drive word-of-mouth through consistent brand presence.

Successful Exit:

  • In June 2024, I was blown off a two-story home and broke my wrist, requiring a plate and 13 screws. Closed out the end of 2024 with a successful exit, selling off accounts, trucks, and equipment to a direct competitor.

Top-of-funnel campaign designed to grab attention, build brand familiarity,
and lightly introduce core services in a fun memorable, unexpected way

The Strategy:

  • Used humor and shock value to stop the scroll — kicking off with a splashy “cannonball” before cutting to service visuals and a clear CTA.

  • Targeted local homeowners and commercial clients to stay top of mind and establish market familiarity.

  • Viewers who watched at least 50% were added to a warm audience for retargeting with direct service ads.

The Results:

  • The video created strong brand recognition across the county. Most inbound leads mentioned “the toilet video,” which built trust and lowered CPL on the retargeted service ads that followed.

This video was designed to expose a major quality gap in the
local market: 95% of competitors skipped the screen cleaner

The Strategy:

  • While most companies just brushed the dirt off of the screens, we used a pro-grade screen washer that deep cleaned them and made it obvious on camera.

  • Customers who saw the video often called other window cleaners to ask, “Do you use one of those screen washer things?” Or they mentioned that their current window company did not use one, and that was enough to make the switch.

The Results:

  • We charged $10 per screen, and because people saw the difference,
    the screen up-sell felt like a no-brainer.

This shifted their thinking from “just cleaning the house” to actually protecting a high-value asset, and gave more weight to the importance of regular home bubble baths.

  • Framed the service as a quality-of-life upgrade. Beyond curb appeal, we emphasized the overlooked health benefits of a clean exterior: fewer allergens, less buildup of mold and mildew, and the removal of spider webs, wasp nests, and grime. It wasn’t just about looking better. It was about breathing easier, feeling safer, and enjoying your home more.

The Results:

  • I dropped these "Someone has been peeping on you" flyers onto doors as a deliberate pattern interrupt to trigger an immediate psychological response. The QR code bridged that physical curiosity into a digital proof-sequence, landing prospects on a page where my privacy and heat-gun videos closed the sale before I even spoke to them. This wasn't just a marketing flyer; it was an engineered acquisition engine that turned front doors into traceable, high-intent customers.

The Retargeting Strategy:

  • Filmed a walkaround demo that showed full daytime privacy in action. Viewers couldn’t see inside from the outside, but once the door opened, only faces appeared. The interior stayed hidden until I stepped inside, where it was fully visible and filled with natural light. From the inside looking out, visibility was completely clear.

  • Shot a second video using a heat gun to demonstrate real-time heat rejection. As sunlight hit the exposed floor, temperatures jumped into the 100s. The section protected by the tinted glass stayed in the 70s, proving immediate impact on heat transfer

  • Used both videos to drive awareness and demand for Peep Free’s tint service. Cross-sold tinting to existing exterior cleaning clients, and upsold window cleaning, screen service, and house washes on tint-only jobs.

The Results:

  • Attracted high-intent leads from homeowners seeking privacy, energy savings, and a cleaner aesthetic — especially those on corner lots or with full-exposure windows.

  • Reframed the conversation from “Do you want tint?” to “Why live behind blinds and pay higher utility bills?” The shift positioned us as the smarter long-term option for modern home comfort.

This video was part of the go-to-market strategy for Genius Messenger,
designed to introduce the core problem and solution at the top of the funnel.

To accelerate subscribers, I created a free
Facebook Messenger Scripts playbook.

This wasn’t just a lead magnet. It functioned as a qualification layer.
Anyone opting in was already selling, or actively trying to sell, inside Messenger.

As users applied the scripts and increased their DM conversations, it exposed
the exact problem Genius Messenger was built to solve. Message overload,
no organization, no follow-up system, and deals slipping through the cracks.
